Finding your date

Which dates can you find?

Any date printed on an Indian banknote — a birthday, an anniversary, the day a business opened, the day someone arrived. Tell us the date and we search our collection for a note bearing it.

Do you actually have every date?

No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Some dates are common and some are genuinely scarce. That is why nothing is charged until we have the note in hand and have confirmed it for you.

What if you cannot find my date?

Your request is marked Not Available and you are not charged a rupee. You never pay for a search — only for a note we have already found.

How long does the search take?

We reply within 24 hours of your request. Most searches are resolved the same day.

Which denominations are available?

₹1, ₹2, ₹5, ₹10, ₹20, ₹50, ₹100, ₹200 and ₹500. Availability varies by date — an older date is more likely to turn up in a smaller denomination.

Can I order more than one note for the same date?

Yes. You can request several denominations for a single date, and each is checked separately. You are charged only for the ones we find.

What you receive

What is in the box?

A genuine circulated banknote bearing your date, in Fine or better condition, sealed in a UV-protective archival sleeve, with a personalised card, in a kraft-lined presentation box. It is ready to give — no wrapping required.

Is the note genuine?

Every note is an original Indian banknote that genuinely entered circulation. Nothing is reproduced, reprinted or simulated. How we check each one is set out on the Authenticity & Sourcing page.

What condition will it be in?

Fine or better. These are notes that were used — they carry the marks of having been in the world, which is rather the point. If a note falls below that standard we do not send it.

Is it framed?

No. The note arrives in an archival sleeve inside a presentation box, which keeps it safe and lets you choose your own frame.

Ordering and payment

How does the process work?

1. Submit your date — free, no commitment.
2. We check the collection — you hear back within 24 hours.
3. Confirmed — if we have it, you get a payment link.
4. Paid — we package the note.
5. Dispatched — it ships with tracked delivery.

What does it cost?

₹499 per note, including tracked delivery anywhere in India and gift packaging. No separate shipping charge.

When am I charged?

Only after we confirm your date is available and you choose to go ahead. Submitting a request costs nothing.

How do I pay?

Through PayU — UPI, card, netbanking or wallet. We never see or store your payment details.

Do I need an account?

No. You can order as a guest and track your order with its reference number. Creating an account simply keeps your orders in one place.

Delivery and after

How long does delivery take?

3–5 days across India once your payment clears. Full detail is on the Shipping & Delivery page.

Do you deliver outside India?

Not at present. We deliver anywhere in India, and delivery is included in the price.

How do I track my order?

Use your order reference on the tracking page. You can also opt in to WhatsApp updates when you order and we will message you as the status changes.

Can I have it sent straight to the recipient?

Yes. Give us their address at checkout and tell us what you would like the personalised card to say. No invoice or pricing goes in the box, and the outer packaging gives nothing away.
